WebSphere TX - Introduction - 3 Day class
This is an introductory course for beginners who have never used WTX or have used it for 6 months or less. Basic concepts are covered using the Type Designer and Map Designer. Upon completion students will understand the capabilities of WTX at a detailed level and be able to build maps and trees.
WebSphere TX - Upgrading to WTX 8.2 - 3 Day class
WebSphere TX version 8.2 marks the first time that WTX has a dramtic change to it's GUI. Although the GUI has changed from version to version in the past, WTX 8.2 no longer has a separate application for the Type Designer and Map Designer. Both applications are used through the Eclipse IDE. We have found that the concepts and functionality are different enough that even Senior WTX developers need training.
WebSphere TX - WSDL and SOAP - Consuming Web Services - 3 Day class
Web services are a new concept to most developers, but they are becoming more popular each year. Consuming a web service with WTX is not a difficult task to accomplish. However, the steps are difficult to figure out without the help of someone with first hand experience. This course takes WTX developers through the steps of importing the WSDL, troubleshooting WDSL's with multiple XSD references, WSDL's with WTX and MQ, and examples of adding retry logic.
WebSphere TX - HIPAA Transactions - 3 Day class
This course is designed to give WTX developers the knowledge to confidently map all of the HIPAA transactions. In this course we start by mapping a 270 (one of the easiest HIPAA transactions) and work our way to the 837 Health Care Claim. The exercises show mapping to and from copybooks as well as XML data.
WebSphere TX - Working with XML Data - 3 Day class
This course demonstrates several key concepts needed to develop WTX XML interfaces. Included in the course are multiple real world situations that our consultants have had to work through. The major concepts in this course are working with XSD's, WSDL's, and mapping XML data. Here is a free presentation on XML for beginners.
UltraEdit - Advanced Techniques - 2 Day class
UltraEdit is a powerful tool that, when you know how to use it, can save you and your staff weeks of work. In this course you'll learn how to use column mode, replace in files, special features section, working with UTF-8 XML data, using column mode in conjuction with Excel and batch files to create 10,000 of test data files in 30 minutes. This is probably the most important course we offer since understanding how to use UE affectively can save your employes hours a day saving your company thousands a month.
QA Professionals - Creating Test Data - 2 Day class
This course is designed to train QA professionals, as well as BA's and developers, the skills to create large amounts of data in relatively no time at all. The class will learn to use UltraEdit, Excel, and batch files to shape, mold, and extract the data they need for thousands of test cases. The last exercise in the course will have the group create 10,000 837 test files (each file will test a separate ICD-9 code) in order to prepare them for the ICD-10 mandate.
